What Is CyberGhost?

CyberGhost is software that sits quietly on your Windows computer. It significantly enhances your machine's protection against exploits, viruses, and hackers. It's smaller than 40 MB and using a mere 30 MB of system memory, it's far less cumbersome than any traditional antivirus.

How Long Does CyberGhost Take to Set Up?

Unlike traditional antivirus, the CyberGhost process isn't instant protection. The deployment consists of three phases.

Phase One: The software is installed and verified. During this phase, which can last up to three weeks depending on your environment, its learning what a typical day looks like for your computer. It's learning what software you use, how you use it, and is sending the record to LUMO's vendor so they can fine-tune the settings.

Phase Two: The software has learned what it needs to learn and one or more computers are tested with the security policies enforced to make sure the software doesn't interfere.

Phase Three: If all goes well, the security policies are pushed out to all the protected computers. They are safe from hackers, viruses, and other malware, even if they never get updated or connect to the Internet again.

What's The Catch?

There is no catch, but there is one small detail to be aware of. Because the software has already learned what your computer's environment and workload looks like, LUMO will need to be notified if you plan on adding any new software. Typically, we need a four business day notice to inform our vendor so they can make the appropriate changes. And custom software might take a little longer.
